Job summary

DISConsulting IT Ltd in Basingstoke is seeking a hands-on Security Engineer to join our growing MSP. You will secure Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune and endpoints across customer environments, investigate incidents and deliver Cyber Essentials readiness.

We value ownership, clear communication and customer focus, with a hybrid setup and one day per week from home after probation. Salary £40k–£50k, with training, pension and perks.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on IT support or engineering experience, such as 2nd/3rd line, systems or infrastructure work; 5+ years is ideal, and MSP experience is preferred
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows, networking and endpoints, plus broad IT skills
• A logical, investigative approach to problem–solving
• Ability to take ownership and follow through
• Confidence and professionalism when working with customers
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for customer–site visits
• Residence within commuting distance of Basingstoke and the right to work in the UK; we cannot offer visa sponsorship
• Willingness to work from our Basingstoke office, with the option to work from home one day per week after probation
• Security+, SC–900, SC–200 or AZ–500 certifications are useful but not essential

Youll work alongside our team in the Basingstoke office, with one day per week working from home available after probation.
