IT Security Engineer – Remote (UK-based)

£50,000 - £60,000 + bonuses, 35-hour work week, and great benefits

This profitable and growing organisation requires an experienced IT Security Engineer with a history of analysing entire Infrastructure estates to determine the current security status and report on recommendations. As the SME for IT Security, you will be responsible for safeguarding highly sensitive data and the IT infrastructure by implementing and managing robust security measures.

Working as part of the wider Infrastructure team, you will help plan and execute a disaster recovery solution and provide technical security input to assist project delivery. You will be responsible for the technical delivery of the Security Roadmap and support the Information Security Manager in the production of InfoSec policies and procedures.

The role will be primarily remote, with occasional travel to their head office in Leeds.

Experience / Responsibilities:

• Proven track record in an IT Security Specialist / Engineer role
• Excellent knowledge of Azure cloud services and infrastructure
• Track record of timely delivery of infrastructure/security projects
• Microsoft 365 E5 security stack
• Microsoft Azure Sentinel
• Enterprise-level vulnerability management
• Relevant Azure or security certifications such as CISSP, Azure Administrator (desirable)
