Job Title: IT Security Specialist

We are seeking a qualified IT Security Specialist to join our Digital, Data, and Technology (DDaT) team. Your role will focus on developing our cyber and information security infrastructure to support PDSA's digital evolution.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Define, deliver, and maintain a security architecture that ensures a secure operating environment while maintaining usability for colleagues.
2. Develop, implement, and uphold effective security policies that balance security needs with user experience.

Required Technical Knowledge:

• Windows Modern Client OS
• Office/Exchange 365 Administration
• Network Security and Asset Management
• Windows Server OS (up to 2019)
• Virtualization Technologies
• LAN, WAN, and WiFi Technologies
• Knowledge of security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27000)
• PCI Compliance
• Current or ongoing Advanced Information Security qualification
• SD-WAN, HCI, Data Lakes
