Job summary

Spectrum IT is seeking an IT Security Auditor with strong Cyber Essentials knowledge to join their cyber security consultancy. You will support CE and CE Plus assessments, interact directly with clients to review evidence and discuss controls, and assess networks, endpoints and cloud environments.

You will produce audit reports and practical recommendations while developing broader information security audit experience and professional growth in a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of CE/CE+ requirements and practical assessment experience.
• Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with clients.
• Sound technical security foundation, including networks, access controls, patching and secure configuration.
• Exposure to ISO 27001, IASME Cyber Assurance or CAF-based schemes.
• Enthusiasm to develop audit expertise.

A growing cyber security consultancy is looking for an IT Security Auditor with good Cyber Essentials knowledge, technical security understanding and confident client-facing skills.

IT Security Auditor -

You’ll join a supportive specialist team, with funded training and certifications to help you broaden your expertise across ISO 27001, IASME Cyber Assurance and other security frameworks.

The role

• Deliver and support Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus assessments.
• Work directly with clients to review evidence, discuss security controls and explain findings.
• Assess technical controls across networks, endpoints and cloud environments.
• Produce clear audit reports and practical recommendations.
• Develop your involvement in wider information security audits and assurance projects.

What we're looking for

• Good knowledge of CE/CE+ requirements and practical assessment experience.

• A sound technical security foundation, including networks, access controls, patching and secure configuration.
• Some exposure to wider frameworks such as ISO 27001, IASME Cyber Assurance or CAF-based schemes.
• A thorough approach and enthusiasm to develop your audit expertise.

Relevant assessor or auditor certifications would be an advantage, particularly Cyber Essentials Plus Assessor or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor.
