Job description

IT Security Analyst

Business: Japanese Company

Company Location: Central London

Salary: Up to £70,000

Office working: 5 days/week

All applicants must have an eligible visa to work in the UK.

Job description:

  1. Security Assessments Support

    • Provide support, coordination, and follow-up for headquarters-led security assessments of overseas branches and subsidiaries.
    • Assist with planning and managing improvements for identified issues.
    • Offer guidance and address security-related inquiries.
  2. Common Security Infrastructure & Operations Outsourcing

    • Evaluate and validate the security infrastructure provided by headquarters.
    • Streamline operational processes and propose improvements.
    • Support the implementation of physical, technical, and administrative controls.
    • Design and propose security outsourcing services (e.g., ID management, network diagram maintenance, vulnerability management, EoL management) for overseas branches and subsidiaries.
  3. Legal Compliance & Regulatory Requirements

    • Ensure adherence to relevant European regulations (e.g., NIS2, EU AI Act).
  4. Communication & Relationship Management

Requirements:

  • Extensive knowledge and experience in the design, construction, and maintenance of security systems.
  • Understanding of security fundamentals.
  • Project management skills and excellent communication skills.
  • Business-level English communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented approach, ensuring accuracy and seeking clarification when needed.
  • Flexible work approach.
