Job Description:

My client is a highly impressive Insurance firm who urgently require an IT Risk Specialist with CISSP certification and a strong and broad Technology understanding of Applications, Cloud and Security to play a key role in identifying and managing Risk acknowledgment, mitigation and Application Risk assessments, whilst facing off to senior and critical Risk forums.

Key Requirements:

1. Proven expertise as an IT Risk Specialist / Consultant within large, complex and multi-National organisations
2. Strong, broad Technology background and understanding spanning Applications, Cloud and Security
3. CISSP certification
4. Expertise in understanding and identifying Risk issues, Risk awareness, Risk mitigation, Risk acceptance and Risk assessments relating to Technology
5. Ability to articulate Risks in business language and advising on the appropriate Risk management action
6. Strong stakeholder management skills for engaging and managing relationships with C-Level stakeholders
7. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to create clear, concise and engaging presentations, breaking down difficult problems
8. Strong analytical and reporting skills
9. Ability to know when to flag urgent issues versus low Risk issues
10. Excellent communication skills with a diplomatic, engaging, collaborative yet firm approach
11. Immediate availability

Nice to have:

1. Strong knowledge of Information Security frameworks (Mitre ATT&CK, NIST, ISO 2700X etc)
2. Strong knowledge of Risk management frameworks (ISO 31000X, NIST 800-30/37/39, ENISA, EBIOS, OCTAVE, FAIR)
3. Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
