Job summary

Nebius is seeking an IT Risk & Controls Manager to embed risk practices within our engineering and technology teams. You will scale IT SOX controls, design scalable controls for cloud platforms, and work with Finance and external auditors to ensure audit readiness and evidence quality.

You will partner with platform, security and corporate IT teams to implement robust control frameworks, drive remediation, and use analytics and AI-assisted tools to improve coverage across our AI cloud

Qualifications

• Degree in IS/CS/Engineering/Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience.
• At least eight years in IT risk, IT controls, IT SOX or related area.
• In-house technology ownership experience required; consulting alone not sufficient.
• Experience in first-line technology, engineering, systems or IT operations roles.

Responsibilities

• Act as risk and controls partner for an assigned technology org or portfolio.
• Lead IT SOX readiness including walkthroughs, evidence review, testing coordination, remediation oversight.
• Design and implement scalable IT controls across cloud infra, DevOps, CI/CD and third‑party services.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, platform and finance teams to optimize control coverage.
• Review third-party assurance reports and liaise with external auditors.
