Job summary

NHS Scotland is seeking an IT Purchasing Officer to join the HSCP eHealth team. You will lead sourcing, negotiation and acquisition of IT hardware, software licenses and related systems, while administering Pecos and leveraging MS365.

The role supports the IT Development Manager and the eHealth Department across Argyll & Bute HSCP. Candidates with admin, purchasing, or supply chain experience, ideally in the public sector, are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in administrative, purchasing, or supply chain roles, ideally in the public sector.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing, negotiation and acquisition of IT hardware, software licenses and associated systems.
• Administer and update IT purchasing systems (Pecos) and utilize MS365.
• Provide high‑quality administrative and operational support to the IT Development Manager and the eHealth Department.
