A leading company in the veterinary industry is seeking an IT Project Manager to oversee IT projects across multiple sites. Ideal candidates will have experience in Infrastructure management, project delivery, and strong leadership skills, with a focus on team coordination and governance structures.

VetPartners are seeking an IT Project Manager to join a busy team managing and controlling a variety of IT related projects across our company sites in which more than 8000 colleagues co-operate, across diverse veterinary practices and related business, throughout the UK, for the health of our patients.
The successful candidate will have experience in managing projects in an Infrastructure arena (servers, networking, telecoms, PCs, etc.) including change management, and will ideally hold a Project Management accreditation or have undertaken Project Management training previously.
The candidate will need to possess a logical approach to their daily work, along with resourcefulness and problem-solving capabilities. Working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment with a willingness to learn and adapt to the changing needs of the business.
The role will involve line management of two IT Project Managers and responsibility for all UK IT Onboarding activities including; IT integration for new acquisitions and delivering small to medium infrastructure projects. There will be regular requirement to manage external suppliers and internal team members and for daily maintenance of project documentation.
The successful candidate will also work closely with the Senior IT Project Manager on developing governance structures and relationships with other internal teams.
This role will report to the Senior IT Project Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities
Role Pre-requisites
The role will require Ad-hoc independent, expensed, travel to our UK wide Veterinary Practices; up to 10 visits per year, which will require a Valid UK driving license. The role requires at least 60% or 3 days-per-week, in-office time, based at our central support office in York.
