eDV Project Manager - Digital Transformation

£750-£775 per day, Inside IR35

6 months + very likely extension

Early June start

Hybrid Cheltenham (3 days on-site, 2 days WFH)

iO Associates is working with a major consultancy that partners with the UK's leading Security and Defence clients. Having previously placed over 35 consultants with this client, we are now looking to hire an IT Project Manager to lead their Cheltenham-based technology transformation programmes.

Important: You must hold active and transferable eDV clearance due to the nature of the programme. eDV clearance is a UK Security Clearance classification requiring residency in the UK for at least 10 years and a 6-12 month vetting process. Please do not apply if you haven't completed this process.

Bio: As a Project Manager, you will manage complex practical, technical, and commercial issues, work with a broad range of stakeholders, and lead the delivery of competitive bids for further work with clients where appropriate.

Skills and Experience:

1. APMP, Prince2, or equivalent qualification (ideal)
2. Practical experience of Agile / Scrum (highly desirable)
3. Experience leading and motivating teams towards successful delivery
4. Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
5. Experience overseeing projects through the full SDLC and project lifecycle
6. Excellent analytical skills
7. Proven problem-solving ability
8. Customer-focused with high service delivery standards
9. Strong client relationship management and people leadership skills
10. Proven ability to complete projects within scope, budget, and timeline
11. Ability to manage all aspects of project delivery, including forecasting, planning, risk and change management, and financial reporting
12. Effective written and verbal communication skills at all organizational levels
