Job summary

Kinetech in the United Kingdom is recruiting an IT Project Manager to join a newly formed Digital delivery team. The role is permanent with hybrid working—3 days onsite and 2 days remote—to support a range of change initiatives across applications, infrastructure, cyber and cloud-enabled projects.

You will own governance, coordinate internal and third-party teams, manage risks, and help mature PMO practices while delivering multiple projects with autonomy.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering IT projects across applications, infrastructure, and cyber domains.
• Solid stakeholder management across technical and business teams.
• Experience juggling multiple workstreams in fast-paced environments.
• Proactive, autonomous, and energetic with minimal supervision.

We’re partnering with a high-performing Education business to hire an IT Project Manager, where you will join a newly formed Digital delivery team, to support a range of change initiatives.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager with breadth across IT project delivery, who enjoys variety and can confidently run multiple projects across applications, service improvement, cyber, infrastructure and cloud-enabled initiatives.

What you’ll be doing

• Own governance including RAID logs, project plans, actions, and stakeholder updates
• Coordinate internal teams and third-party suppliers to keep delivery moving
• Identify risks and dependencies early and elevate appropriately
• Support the development of project standards and ways of working (maturing a PMO)
• Drive delivery pace while maintaining a collaborative, outcomes-focused approach

What we’re looking for

• Strong experience delivering projects across varied IT initiatives (applications / infrastructure / cyber etc) and juggling multiple projects at any one time.
• Confident stakeholder management across technical, non-technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Organised and comfortable managing multiple workstreams at pace
• Proactive, high-energy, and able to work with autonomy (not a micro-management culture)
