Job description

We have a new opportunity to join the IT team as an IT Project Manager. In this role, you will lead IT projects, ensuring the efficient and scalable delivery of IT systems and solutions that comply with regulatory requirements. As our IT Project Manager, you will contribute to the team’s goal of achieving top-three results in the FIA Constructors Championship.

You will be responsible for:

  1. Building strong stakeholder engagement with business leads.
  2. Conducting discovery and mapping of business and technical requirements through interviews, process analysis, and workshops.
  3. Collaborating with IT Project Managers and Solution Architects to develop business cases, gather metrics, and outline current and desired states.
  4. Mapping relevant information and data, including business processes, operational workflows, and team needs.
  5. Conducting impact assessments and providing recommendations for changes, including proposals to optimize organizational structures, roles, and processes.
  6. Planning, transitioning, and embedding new ways of working, addressing skills and resource gaps, and implementing operating procedures within the wider IT team.
  7. Supporting the development, testing, and deployment of IT solutions, ensuring scope, cost, schedule, quality, adoption, and value outcomes are achieved.
  8. Assisting in creating business cases and financial models for digital transformation initiatives within excluded functions, in collaboration with SMEs.
  9. Performing other duties as reasonably requested, aligned with your role.

What you will need to be successful in this role:

  1. Excellent working knowledge of IT systems and tools, including ERP, CRM, and analytics platforms.
  2. Thorough understanding of FIA Financial Cost Cap Regulations, especially as they relate to excluded functions.
  3. Good working knowledge of project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Jira).
  4. Previous experience as a Business Analyst or similar role in a Formula 1 or high-performance motorsport environment.
  5. Availability to travel as required.
  6. Self-motivated with the ability to motivate others in a challenging environment.
  7. Ability to work calmly and confidently under pressure to meet targets and deliver results.
  8. Effective, positive, and respectful communication with colleagues.
  9. Flexible attitude and ability to work as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
  10. Results-oriented with strong decision-making skills.
  11. Enthusiastic, versatile, and capable of building and maintaining good working relationships.
  12. Understanding of and commitment to Health & Safety standards.

This is a full-time, office-based role at our Silverstone campus, with travel to other locations as needed.
