We supply all the UK’s food retailers with everything from Sandwiches, soups and sushi to cooking sauces, pickles and ready meals, and in FY24, we generated revenues of £1.8bn.

Our vast direct-to-store (DTS) distribution network, comprising of 17 depots nationwide, enables us to make over 10,500 daily deliveries of our own chilled and frozen produce and that of third parties.

What you'll be doing:

As an IT Project Manager you’ll be working within a fast-paced delivery team to manage a range IT projects of varying complexities and differing technologies. You’ll be responsible for all aspects of project scope and budget, project governance, resource management and stakeholder engagement.As such, you’ll be working across a number of teams within IT and across the wider organisation, with opportunities to try new things, enhance our delivery methods and contribute to a culture of continual improvement.

• Experience working in an established but growing delivery team, in an environment that is fast paced and demanding
• Experience working within multiple project delivery methodologies and across a range of IT projects: infrastructure, applications, bespoke software and SaaS
• Exposure to business teams and stakeholders across the whole organisation
• Full responsibility for your projects and autonomy to work within our delivery frameworks

What we’re looking for:

• Smart, enthusiastic, high performing individuals with a strong track record in IT delivery
• A great communicator with the positivity and perseverance to get stuck in, solve problems and to see projects through to the end
• Capability to manage several projects at one time, handling conflicting priorities in a fast paced, ever-changing environment
• Ideally, good experience of different delivery methodologies (e.g. waterfall, Agile etc.) but, more importantly, a willingness to learn, self-improve and to contribute to the lifeblood of the delivery team and Greencore IT as a whole
