The role
As an IT Project Manager, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary.
Day-to-day, you’ll ensure the implementation of structured project management processes to deliver value from IT projects effectively.
- Assemble project plans and assign teamwork tasks
- Direct and monitor daily work efforts, identify resource needs, perform quality reviews, and escalate issues as needed
- Track key milestones, adjust project plans or resources to meet customer needs, and maintain required documentation
- Assist the Portfolio Manager and Business Relationship Manager in partnering with senior management to identify and prioritize business improvement opportunities
This is a full-time role, 37.5 hours per week, primarily remote, with occasional travel to UK hubs such as Plymouth, Rosyth, Warrington, Leicester, Bristol, Portsmouth, etc.
Essential experience
- Experienced IT professional focused on cost-effective project delivery
- Infrastructure and Application Project Management experience is desirable
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project (Project Server preferred)
- Managing 4-5 projects simultaneously
Qualifications
- PRINCE2, APM, or equivalent certification
- Certified Scrum Master, AgilePM, or equivalent
Security Clearance
- Ability to obtain and maintain SC security clearance
