Our client in the Education sector is currently hiring an IT Project Manager to join their Head Office in Peterborough!

As the IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

1. Leading and supporting all IT projects from pre-project through to delivery and closure
2. Collaborating with the Head of IT on IT procurement across software and hardware
3. Supporting IT Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans and response operations
4. Contributing to the organisation's Digital Standards to ensure best practices are defined and followed

What you'll need to be successful in this role:

1. Extensive IT project delivery experience
2. Excellent planning skills, including the ability to develop a structured plan with limited initial information
3. Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
4. Excellent attention to detail
5. Ability to turn complex concepts into simple language
6. Effective problem-solving skills
7. Suitable project management qualification (Agile, PRINCE2 etc) or extensive experience in project management with a willingness to undertake an appropriate formal qualification
8. Desirable experience in technical operations including cloud-based platforms, in particular Azure/Entra environments
9. Desirable experience of procurement including the use of procurement frameworks
