IT Project Manager

I am recruiting for an IT project manager to work for a client within the banking and financial services sector. This is a three-year programme involving regulations and transitioning from legacy IT systems.

Experience
  • Managing end-to-end technology projects with a broad knowledge of IT systems and operations, including business applications, infrastructure, and system development.
  • Proven ability to coordinate both business and technology aspects of major projects.
  • Good knowledge of global asset businesses and operations, especially custody.
  • Basic knowledge of SWIFT.
  • Managing large-scale budgets at a project level.
  • Effective communication skills suitable for all levels of business and stakeholders.
  • Experience in digital delivery using Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  • Strong planning and problem-solving skills.
  • Technical proficiency with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
  • Experience in risk management, identifying and managing project risks.
  • Financial acumen with experience in budget management and financial planning.
  • Experience in payments, banking, or financial services is essential.
Additional Details

This role is hybrid, based in the Liverpool Street area in London, requiring three days in the office. It is a contract initially for twelve months, potentially ongoing up to three years, inside IR35, paying between £575 - £750 per day through an umbrella company.
