A public sector technology consultancy is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead impactful projects supporting frontline policing in South West England. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in managing IT projects within complex environments, knowledge of project management methodologies, and excellent stakeholder engagement skills. This role may involve hybrid working arrangements and requires NPPV3 security clearance.

We're looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to join a forward-thinking police force in the South West. This is a unique opportunity to lead impactful technology projects that directly support frontline policing and public safety. You'll be driving digital transformation, improving operational systems, and helping deliver innovative solutions - including projects involving Artificial Intelligence.
Proven experience managing IT projects in complex, multi-agency environments
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile)
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Background in public sector, ideally law enforcement or emergency services
Understanding of data protection, cybersecurity, and IT governance
Experience working with Artificial Intelligence technologies or projects
Familiarity with policing systems (e.g., Niche RMS, PNC, BWV platforms)
Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, mobile tech, and digital evidence systems
