A globally recognised organisation is seeking a Junior to Mid level IT Project Manager to strengthen their PMO function. This role involves leading IT projects across digital teams, managing daily requirements, and collaborating with internationally based stakeholders. Candidates should have strong project management experience, ideally with Prince2 Foundation qualifications, and be willing to travel 2-3 days a week to South Wales. The position offers a competitive salary and flexible working conditions.

Qualifications

IntaPeople are proud to be supporting a globally recognised organisation which, due to continued growth, now requires a Junior – Mid level IT Project Manager to join their globally based PMO function. If you’re currently an experienced Project Officer looking for the next step or an IT Project Manager seeking a new challenge, this could be for you.

This is a unique opportunity for someone to work across digital/software teams and wider business stakeholders.

What you will be doing:

  • Leading, planning, executing, reporting, and evaluating projects with concrete tasks such as:
  • Completing ongoing project status reports and meetings with the steering group
  • Managing daily project team requirements, including resource administration, follow-up on deliveries, and handling personal and professional issues
  • Collaborating with management to refine project scope based on assignments
  • Creating detailed project plans outlining activities and resources needed for successful completion
  • Reviewing the quality of work regularly to ensure it meets project standards
  • Reporting to the Head of PMO

What you bring:

  • Experience working on IT Projects
  • Experience with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Experience within a manufacturing environment or similar
  • At least 2+ years’ experience in project management
  • Willingness to work with internationally based stakeholders
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ideally, Prince2 Foundation qualifications

Role overview (at a glance):

  • Starting salary of £45,000 - £48,000 depending on experience
