Location: Hybrid with travel to client sites

Our award-winning Managed IT Services client continues to grow and is on the lookout for experienced Engineers & Consultants with MSP backgrounds to join their dynamic PS team.

The Role

As an IT Project Engineer, you'll act as a key technical expert, delivering end-to-end IT transformation projects across the group. From scoping and onboarding to migration and implementation, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping modern IT environments for clients.

• Handle escalations and provide technical guidance to junior team members
• Assist in continuous improvement of processes, standards, and technologies
• Identify and deliver IT improvements across security, systems, and infrastructure

What You’ll Bring

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems; Windows Desktops / Servers.
• Strong knowledge of Cloud technologies (Azure, AWS)
• Solid networking skills: TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, Firewalls, Switching, Wireless
• Experience with virtualisation (Hyper-V, VMware, containerisation)
• Citrix knowledge (desirable)
• A continuous learning mindset and a proactive approach
• Full UK driving licence & access to own vehicle

Certifications

• Microsoft Associate (or above)
• CCNA (or above)
• Azure, GCP, or other cloud-based certifications

• Deliver and assist on IT projects (cloud, systems, security, hardware)
• Communicate with stakeholders to recommend IT improvements
• Provide third-party software advice and in-house system testing
• Log and resolve issues via the ticketing system with excellent communication
• Create and update customer documentation and knowledge base
• Contribute to revenue opportunities and report to management
• Follow company ISMS standards and report any concerns
