Job Details

Location: Chorley

Salary Range: £32,000 - £38,000

We are seeking an IT Project Engineer / Senior IT Support Engineer to join a growing, friendly, and dynamic Managed Service Provider delivering support both remotely and in person to businesses across the UK.

Role Responsibilities

• Ensure IT projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
• Create detailed project plans, define objectives, and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Serve as technical lead, providing guidance on software, hardware, and network solutions.
• Manage resources effectively, including personnel, budget, and equipment.
• Design and implement IT systems architecture and infrastructure.
• Monitor project progress, manage risks, and ensure quality assurance.
• Facilitate communication among team members, stakeholders, and clients.
• Provide post-implementation support, troubleshooting, and training.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience working for a Managed Service Provider, with knowledge of cloud technologies (Azure/AWS).
• Proficiency in Windows OS and Windows Server migrations.
• Experience with Office 365 administration.
• Networking skills (Firewalls, Routing & Switches, TCP/IP).
• Knowledge of Virtualisation technologies (VMware ESXi, Hyper-V), Citrix preferred.
• Experience with migrations such as Exchange on-premise to Office 365.
• Certifications in ITIL, PRINCE2, or cloud platforms are advantageous.
