Job summary

Fujitsu in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced PMO Programme Planner to coordinate and plan work across a large account in Basingstoke. You will develop Level 0 plans, align with Project Managers, and drive delivery across 40 projects within the portfolio.

The role requires a strong background in programme planning, knowledge of Project Web, and proficiency with Agile, Scrum or Waterfall. You will lead cross‑functional teams, manage risks, update highlights, and ensure objectives are

Qualifications

Proven experience as IT Programme Planner or similar.
Detailed working knowledge of Project Web in a portfolio role.
Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum or Waterfall.
Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
Strong communication with stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive Level 0 project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation, in collaboration with the Project Managers and other key stakeholders (eg Programme Manager).
Coordinate project activities and ensure that all project tasks are tracked with any updates completed in a timely manner.
Manage the transition from current plans and ways of working into the use of project web on a daily basis across 40 projects within the portfolio
Act as a champion for Project Web across the account and provide guidance to PM’s regarding how to structure their plans to obtain the best results from Project Web
Identify and escape any conflicts or issues in project plans that arise during the project lifecycle.
Support the conduct of risk assessments and help highlight mitigation strategies to minimise project risks against the project plans.
Review the project highlight reports (PHRs) to ascertain progress against the project plans and escalare risks & issues to the Programme Manager on a regular basis.
If requested to, collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, etc. to ensure project success.
Provide leadership and guidance to project team members to ensure project objectives are met.
