Job Opportunity: IT Programme Delivery Lead (Fixed-term Contract)

A 12-month fixed-term contract opportunity has arisen at a large UK financial services firm for an IT Programme Delivery Lead to drive and execute high-impact projects.

Key Responsibilities include:

  1. Managing budgets, third-party vendors, and cross-functional delivery teams.
  2. Coordinating internal and external development teams to ensure resource allocation aligns with project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
  3. Defining and maintaining detailed project scopes, technical/user requirements, and delivery roadmaps in partnership with key stakeholders.
  4. Using project management tools to monitor progress, manage risks and dependencies, and provide real-time updates via dashboards and reports.
  5. Establishing and maintaining strong governance practices, including RAID logs, change control processes, lessons learned, and key decision tracking.
  6. Conducting regular IT process evaluations to uncover opportunities for automation, standardisation, and operational improvements.
  7. Leading the implementation of targeted process improvements to boost efficiency, strengthen governance, and enhance service delivery.
  8. Defining and monitoring KPIs to measure project success, system performance, and stakeholder satisfaction.
