Job summary

Samsung SDS Europe Limited (SDSE) in the UK is seeking a Procurement Professional to own end-to-end sourcing activities and secure high-quality IT outsourcing resources. You will manage supplier relationships, negotiate agreements, and deliver value while ensuring policy compliance.

You will collaborate with Head Office in Korea, European subsidiaries, and internal stakeholders across Finance, Legal, and business requestors, as well as external suppliers and authorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and/or 4–5 years’ work experience in procurement, supply chain management and/or IT industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Fluent in English to work with stakeholders.
• Legally eligible to work in the United Kingdom.
• Familiar with ERP systems such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics.
• Holding or willing to study for CIPS Level 3 or 4 Advanced Certificate/Diploma.

Responsibilities

• Ensure category strategy is aligned and deployed with the SDS global procurement guide.
• Complete end-to-end procurement processing for agency contractors sourcing within tight time windows.
• Manage supplier spend, contracts, performance and relationships.
• Initiate, execute and manage RFx processes.
• Negotiate and finalize supplier contracts for best commercial outcomes.
• Drive supplier performance in cost, delivery, and quality.
• Develop contingency plans for supply chain disruption.
• Support internal/external audit compliance.
• Escalate issues to Procurement Head as needed.
• Provide weekly progress updates on procurement projects.
• Handle ad hoc procurement tasks as required.
