With a critical IT supplier base, early-stage strategic projects, and autonomy to run your own portfolio, this is ideal for someone with around 5 years of IT procurement experience who’s ready to step up and shape their future.

Why Apply?

  • Autonomy from day one– this is a chance to run your own ship, supported by an experienced Head of Procurement who’s there when needed but happy to let you crack on
  • C-suite exposure– you’ll work closely with the COO and other senior leaders across Technology, Risk, Finance, and Legal
  • Development-focused environment– ideal for someone looking to stretch themselves, gain group-level visibility, and take on strategic responsibility early
  • Balanced working culture– outcomes matter more than hours. There's flexibility around family commitments and day-to-day working patterns

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Managing critical IT suppliers – including software licensing, cloud, infrastructure
  • Leading negotiations and sourcing activity, with support from an Assistant IT Procurement Manager
  • Working collaboratively with non-IT Procurement Managers and cross-functional teams across the group
  • Supporting governance and regulatory alignment, while helping shape the strategic procurement roadmap

What You’ll Need

  • Around 5 years of IT procurement experience, ideally in financial services or another regulated environment
  • A strong grasp of software agreements, licensing models, and supplier negotiation
  • Confidence in engaging senior stakeholders and a proactive, self-directed approach
  • The hunger to grow and a long-term mindset – even if this isn’t your forever role, it should be the one that propels you to the next level
  • Competitive salary up to £70,000
  • 25 days annual leave
  • Hybrid working (typically 3 days in the Southampton office)
  • Life insurance, income protection & critical illness cover
  • Retirement & savings plan with flexible investment options
  • Supportive, autonomy-led culture with C-suite exposure and clear career progression
