An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an innovative service-based organisation whose European operations are headquartered in Leeds.

Reporting to the Director of Procurement, you will work as part of a strategic and innovative procurement function, taking the lead on the organisation's IT Procurement function. You will also work closely with the Organisation CIO and wider IT function to support both the identification and realisation of cost savings.

Key responsibilities will include:
  1. Effective management of an IT budget of circa £45 million, covering all IT sub-categories.
  2. Establish Trust as the go-to partner for all third-party IT negotiations, setting a high standard for sustainable procurement practices.
  3. Forge strong relationships with senior commercial contacts, securing optimal terms and significant cost reductions.
  4. Negotiate to ensure robust contracts that provide maximum flexibility and value.
What you'll need to succeed
  1. Proven experience in managing IT procurement categories end-to-end, including software, hardware, on-premises & cloud solutions, telecommunications, and networks.
  2. Expertise in commercial and contractual negotiations with major IT OEM providers.
  3. Innovative approach to developing solutions alongside business partners.
  4. Influential skills to engage a broad range of stakeholders while fostering positive relationships.
  5. Risk management acumen with strategies to mitigate potential issues.
  6. Project management prowess to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
