As the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Operations Manager, you will provide first and second level technical support across Europe and work directly with our managed services provider, 'OpenText'. You will respond to and collaborate with customers, resellers, and internal teams to resolve transaction processing issues, provide EDI technical support, and assist with day-to-day EDI operations.

You will deliver front-line customer support for all European EDI systems, manage relationships, and onboard new clients to the EDI platform.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Coordinating with internal units to define EDI implementation plans for new and existing transaction sets.
2. Troubleshooting and resolving issues promptly.
3. Collaborating with IT teams to support and improve software and system architecture.
4. Enhancing automation platforms to increase efficiency.
5. Identifying and closing gaps in EDI processes and data communication.
6. Testing EDI transactions with new and current trading partners.

Qualifications:

• Experience with SQL queries.
• Knowledge of EDIFACT transaction sets.
• Familiarity with translators like TLE and BizLink.
• Experience with VANS and EDI mailboxes.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proven customer support experience.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of EDI standards and protocols, including XML, TCP/IP, FTP, HTTP, and AS2.
• Experience with Opentext EDI platform preferred.
• Understanding of relational databases and network technologies.
• Fluent in English; German and/or Spanish are advantages.
• Collaborative, adaptable, and relationship-oriented.
• Based at our office in St Albans.
