About your new employer:

About your new role:

Due to sustained growth, an opening for an IT Operations Manager has been created. This role is positioned as the 2IC to the National IT Manager and will oversee the daily operation of the IT function whilst providing leadership to the IT team of 4 people.

Some of the key tasks will include:

1. Develop and implement IT processes with the aim of building structure and best practices in the IT department.
2. Allocate IT resources and plan workloads to ensure that service levels are maintained.
3. Provide technical expertise and operational guidance for complex issues and escalations with networks & infrastructure.
4. Participate in the delivery of new projects such as ERP upgrades and new system rollouts.
5. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with external vendors.

About you:

This is an exciting opportunity for a ‘hands-on’ IT professional who is looking for career advancement. You could come from an MSP background or have worked across various roles within a corporate business and are now ready to take the next step up to management.

Other key attributes in your profile include:

1. Degree or formal qualification in IT.
2. ITIL Certification and the ability to work within the ITIL framework.
3. Clear and concise communication skills - able to work with execs, entry-level employees as well as technical & non-technical stakeholders.
4. Hands-on experience supporting network, infrastructure and applications for a 400+ user community across multiple sites.
5. Prior experience with implementing processes and workflow standards.
6. Proven ability to meet/maintain high SLA scores, ideally within a ServiceNow environment.
7. Leadership/supervision experience looking for career progression.
