A global insurance firm is seeking an IT Operational Platforms and Security Lead to enhance their IT operations across a global commercial environment. This new role will focus on managing security risks, driving IT operational excellence, and working with both internal stakeholders and vendors to ensure service quality. Candidates should possess strong experience in Microsoft 365, Azure infrastructure, and security frameworks, along with effective management skills. Qualifications

• Strong experience managing Microsoft 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams), Azure cloud infrastructure, and security tools such as Microsoft Defender and Sentinel.
• Deep knowledge of security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS), compliance requirements (GDPR, SOC2), and risk management best practices.
• Expertise in Azure AD, MFA, Conditional Access, Single Sign-On (SSO), and Privileged Access Management (PAM).
• Good management and people leadership skills.

IT Operational Platforms and Security Lead

My leading Insurance client is looking for a talented and motivated professional to oversee the organisation's IT operations, ensuring the stability, continuity, security, and efficiency of its technology platforms within a global commercial insurance environment.

You'll drive IT operational excellence, manage security risks, focus on continual service improvement, drive transformational delivery projects, and work effectively with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors to deliver high-quality Global IT services.

The following skills/experience are essential:
