Job summary

ZEISS Vision Care UK&I in Birmingham seeks an Information Technology Manager to lead the technology portfolio across workplace, infrastructure, applications and data.

You will shape the technology strategy, roadmap and service delivery, ensuring security, resilience, cost efficiency and alignment with business priorities. You’ll lead 7 staff, including 4 direct reports, and partner with Corporate IT and external vendors.

Qualifications

• Experience leading IT service delivery or product teams in a complex business.
• Proven track record of driving service improvements with measurable outcomes.
• Strong stakeholder management and translating business needs into tech solutions.
• Knowledge of ITIL-aligned service management including demand, change, incident and problem management.
• Experience with enterprise data platforms, architecture and security.

Responsibilities

• Lead UK&I technology strategy, roadmap and service delivery across workplace, infrastructure, applications and data.
• Manage a team of 7 (4 direct reports) with coaching and development.
• Partner with Corporate IT and external vendors to deliver solutions.
• Drive data governance, quality and accessibility of information.
• Own service performance, governance, risk, security and continuity management.
• Oversee budgets, supplier management and contract negotiations.
• Promote continual service improvement and automation across services.
• Ensure business continuity and disaster recovery readiness.
