Location – On-Site (Leeds)

Career – This role would suit a jack of all trades. Someone used to turning their hands to any task. A small business with great backing will see the right person be involved in analysis, process change, project management, e-commerce, MI / BI, general IT support and vendor management.

As part of a wider group of companies, my client distributes and sells a vast range of consumer durable and DIY products both through direct selling routes as well as through e-commerce channels. The companies fall under a larger group banner whilst holding their own brand identities. All companies have identifiably different structures, processes and approaches to technology which need to be analysed, improved and restructured where necessary. As one of a small number of in-house technology proficient people, this role holder will identify areas of improvement and implement both process and technology solutions that will support the business through a period of growth and change.

Key Skills:

  1. Process mapping, process analysis and improvement.
  2. System integrations with financial systems, ERP etc.
  3. Understand, build and develop reporting tools.
  4. Building SOPs and implementing training.
  5. Knowledge of ISO 9001.
  6. Experience in IT back office/systems administration and desk-side support.
  7. Working with third-party IT service suppliers.

Technical Knowledge:

  1. Project management systems (like ClickUp, Monday.com).
  2. Experience with applications (like Office 365, Power BI, & Google Suite).
  3. Knowledge of Networking, Microsoft Windows Server, Windows Operating System and Microsoft SQL.
  4. In-depth interfacing experience (like APIs, Web Services, Zapier, etc).
  5. Knowledge of workflow software (like Visio, Figma).
  6. Experience with reporting tools like (Phocas and Power BI).
  7. Understanding of website development, e-commerce, HTML etc. (Big Commerce knowledge useful).
