Job summary

Hawk 3 Talent Solutions is seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead the IT function for a growing business. Based in Stoke-on-Trent, the role reports to the Managing Director and oversees infrastructure, cybersecurity, and technology projects across UK and international operations.

You will manage a small team (IT Analyst) and work hands-on to maintain reliable systems, drive improvements, and ensure secure, scalable solutions while aligning with business goals and budgets.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years in IT infrastructure management, systems administration and network operations.
• Experience managing or mentoring IT staff.
• Strong project management experience delivering IT projects.
• Excellent understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk management and compliance.
• Experience with networking technologies including firewalls, VPNs, routers and switches.
• Experience developing disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT infrastructure management across server, network and cloud environments.
• Drive cybersecurity and compliance programs, risk assessments and incident response planning.
• Deliver IT projects from planning through deployment within scope, time, and budget.
• Support ERP/MRP migrations and system upgrades for business transformation.
• Manage budgets, vendor relationships, and procurement activities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and international IT teams.
