As we scale, we're bringing our IT operations in-house for the very first time. This is a rare opportunity to be the founding force behind our internal IT function. We’re looking for a proactive, hands-on IT Manager/Director who’s excited to take ownership, shape the future of our technology, and grow with us through our next phase.

The IT Manager/Director will be responsible for overseeing all internal IT operations, acting as the primary point of contact for IT-related needs. This role will ensure the efficient management of IT infrastructure, security, user support, and vendor relationships while working closely with external IT providers for 24/7 monitoring and out-of-hours support

This is a pivotal, high-impact role where you’ll be responsible for establishing and leading our internal IT operations — everything from infrastructure, systems and support to cybersecurity, vendor management and long-term strategy.

You’ll work closely with teams across the business, including our expanding US office, and will act as the go-to person for all things IT. You’ll ensure we’re secure, scalable, and future-ready, with smart tools and reliable systems that enable productivity at every level.

We're looking for someone who genuinely wants to be part of the team — in-person — and sees the value of being in the room, building relationships, and getting under the skin of the business. Expect to be based in our Battersea office 3–4 days a week as standard.

Key Responsibilities

IT Strategy & Leadership

·Define and deliver an effective in-house IT strategy aligned to business growth.

·Recommend and implement new tools, platforms, and infrastructure to enhance productivity and performance.

·Lead long-term decisions around cloud adoption, systems architecture, and future scaling.

Service Desk & User Support

·Deliver hands-on day-to-day support for internal users, resolving hardware, software, and system access issues quickly and effectively.

·Own and optimise user onboarding/offboarding processes to ensure secure, consistent provisioning and deprovisioning.

Infrastructure & Security

·Oversee a robust, secure IT infrastructure, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR).

·Define and uphold cybersecurity best practices across devices, systems, and user behaviours.

Systems & Software Management

·Administer and optimise collaboration platforms such as Microsoft 365, project management tools, and other key systems.

·Proactively identify and roll out new software solutions to support evolving business needs.

Vendor & Supplier Relationships

·Manage procurement, licensing, and contracts for all IT systems and tools.

·Serve as the key liaison with external IT providers, ensuring high-quality 24/7 monitoring and out-of-hours support.

Stakeholder Communication

·Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business.

·Translate technical issues into clear, actionable language for non-technical colleagues and leadership.

·A strong in-person presence — this role is primarily office-based (minimum 3 days per week) and thrives on face-to-face collaboration.
