IT Manager

Onsite

We have partnered with a leading manufacturing customer in their search for a new hands-on IT Manager. This role requires an individual with extensive technical knowledge who is eager to stay actively involved in technical tasks while providing leadership and strategic direction within the team. This position may suit someone with previous management or leadership experience or a candidate seeking their next career step.

Role responsibilities and skills:

1. Manage the daily operations of the factory IT support teams.
2. Provide technical support and mentorship to IT team members.
3. Define and implement strategic plans for IT services and infrastructure.
4. Oversee the operation and maintenance of all corporate computer systems across multiple locations.
5. Deliver reliable IT services, primarily supporting factory operations as an IT shared service.
6. Support the deployment of new systems and applications, coordinating with external partners and internal teams for successful implementation.
7. Ensure all company systems meet industry standards for compliance and licensing.
8. Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Entra ID/Active Directory, Azure, Intune, and Teams.
9. Manage network configurations including LAN, WAN, VPN, Firewall, and Wi-Fi.
10. Maintain cybersecurity measures, manage SOC providers, and implement security protocols in the OT environment.
11. Understand virtual environments such as VMWare.
12. Manage company data, backups, and off-site storage solutions.
13. Maintain compliance with standards like TISAX for information security.
14. Knowledge of MS SQL management and clustering.
15. Hands-on experience with PCs, laptops, and peripherals.
