As part of this expansion, they are creating several new IT Service Manager positions to strengthen IT service delivery and support a growing global operation.

This is a unique opportunity to join a world-class cruise brand at a pivotal time, playing a key role in shaping how technology underpins the guest and crew experience across new and existing ships. You'll work on a three-month rotational overseas assignment, leading IT operations onboard and driving continuous improvement as the company scales.

Why This Role Is Different
  • Newly created roles driven by strong business growth and fleet expansion
  • All living expenses covered while working overseas
  • Chance to travel the world while growing your IT leadership career
  • Join a prestigious, multicultural organisation on an ambitious digital journey
What You'll Do
  • Service Management & Delivery: Own IT service operations onboard, ensuring high availability, performance and seamless digital experiences for guests and crew across a growing fleet.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary IT contact for senior leadership, department heads and external vendors, aligning IT services with evolving business demands.
  • IT Strategy & Continuous Improvement: Shape and execute IT service strategies that support expansion, minimise downtime and enable innovation as new ships and services come online.
  • Leadership & Team Management: Lead and mentor onboard IT support staff, embedding a culture of excellence, continuous learning and proactive problem-solving.
  • Incident & Problem Management: Manage incidents and problems using structured ITSM processes, ensuring quick, effective resolution and lessons learned across ships.
  • Compliance & Security: Safeguard operations by ensuring adherence to maritime regulations, cybersecurity policies and data protection standards.
What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years' experience in IT service management, IT operations or IT leadership
  • ITIL certification (and ideally experience implementing ITIL best practice)
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, able to explain technical topics to non-technical audiences
  • Proven background managing IT support teams, vendors and service contracts
  • Solid understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure - servers, networks and EUC
  • Experience in hospitality, cruise or travel is highly desirable
  • Marine Training (STCW) or willingness to complete it before starting
    The Environment
    • Lead IT service delivery onboard a luxury cruise liner, supporting multiple venues and operational areas.
    • Work in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment with diverse international teams.
    • Adapt to different time zones and operational needs while maintaining consistently high service standards.

If you're a strategic IT leader who thrives in growing, change-rich environments and wants to be part of a major expansion story while seeing the world, we'd love to hear from you.
