Job description

Reed Technology is working with an Edinburgh based company, as they look to add an IT Manager to lead and manage the IT function.

You will be responsible for all existing IT systems and related functions (such as internet, communications and security systems) across all sites.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic direction for the IT function, aligned with the company's goals.
  • Manage the daily IT operations, including network management, infrastructure, cybersecurity and support services.
  • Oversee the setup and maintenance of all IT systems and equipment (hardware, software, networking).
  • Ensure data security, firewall implementation, network access and backup systems.
  • Proactively identify IT challenges and implement timely, strategic solutions.
  • Ensure IT systems and processes comply with relevant regulations and standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role with strong business acumen.
  • Ability to manage and deliver IT projects effectively.
  • Committed to providing exceptional customer service.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and VoIP Cloud Phone Systems.
  • Ideally familiar with Sage 200, Sage 50 Payroll, Autodesk Revit, and AutoCAD.
  • Full UK Driving Licence - occasional travel required.
