Job description

Do you want to play a key role in our Digital Evolution? Have you led teams through growth and change? If so, please read on!

In this newly created role, you will be responsible for overseeing all IT related matters - delivering to project timescales and managing the IT Budget. Key to success is ensuring all systems and processes are fit for the future and meet the needs of the organisation. Presence on the ground is also important to expand the internal IT support team.

Key responsibilities to include:

  1. Strategic Planning: Develop further the digital strategy work completed by external consultants and ensure its successful implementation. Ensure the digital strategy aligns with the overall goals of the organization. Take advantage of new technological developments.
  2. MIS Projects: Work closely with the MIS Project Manager to ensure that all MIS projects are scoped, designed and implemented effectively.
  3. Team Management: Lead, manage and develop one direct report and manage the relationship and performance of an external Managed Service Provider.
  4. Business Partnering: Collaborate with other departments and operational teams to ensure the IT needs of the business are being met.
  5. Cyber Security: Work with external consultants to ensure the organisation's network and systems are secure from threats.

Qualifications:

  • An experienced line manager.
  • Have excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Experience of Budget management.
  • Be an experienced stakeholder manager across a range of functions (e.g., Finance, HR, Operations).
  • Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline such as information technology or computer science.
  • Certification in Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Cisco Certified Network Assistant (CCNA) desirable.

Salary: c £50,000 DOE
