Your Role

As an IT Manager, you will oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of our IT infrastructure, systems, and services. Your role is crucial in ensuring that all IT functions align with our company's goals. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, security skills, leadership, and strong communication abilities.

What You Need to Succeed
  • Ideally, a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field and/or a Cisco networking and/or security qualification (CCNA or CCNP preferred).
  • Experience in an IT environment with established 'Security first' principles and preferably 5+ years of experience in IT management, focusing on security, infrastructure, systems administration, and network management.
  • Skills and Knowledge:
    • Strong knowledge of IT systems, hardware, networking, network security, cloud computing, and data management; detailed IT security knowledge.
    • Experience with Microsoft 365 and Microsoft SQL Server; knowledge of NIS regulations; strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • IT Infrastructure Management:
    • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, databases, and cloud solutions.
    • Maintain disaster recovery solutions and manage technology procurement.
    • Ensure systems are scalable, secure, and optimized for business needs.
    • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and collaborate with department heads to determine technology needs.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
    • Develop strategies to improve team performance and customer service.
    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the IT department.
  • Cybersecurity and Risk Management:
    • Implement security measures to protect IT systems and data.
    • Manage disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
    • Ensure compliance with industry standards and environmental regulations.
  • Vendor Management:
    • Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers.
    • Evaluate and recommend technology solutions to improve operational efficiency.
  • Project Management:
    • Lead IT-related projects, ensuring timely completion within scope and budget.
    • Collaborate with other departments to implement new technologies.
  • Support and Troubleshooting:
    • Provide high-level support for complex IT issues.
    • Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and documentation.
