We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Lead – Vendor Management to join our team. The IT Lead – Vendor Management will play a key role in implementing Supplier Management Best Practices across the Ardagh Group and accountable for the overall commercial management of suppliers across the Technology landscape. Responsible for developing and managing relationships with vendors who supply IT related products and services to Ardagh Group, who will ensure they meet/exceed key partner performance metrics and contractual obligations as well as drive Supplier Management capability across the Ardargh Group ensuring all vendors and suppliers provide flexibility, value for money, agility and responsive ways or working. The role is fundamental in driving business change across the business, driving best practice, Supplier Management frameworks, evaluation programmes and contributing to cost savings for Group IT. Deputising for the Head of Supplier Management and support the Contract Management and Asset Management team.

The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of IT asset and contract management principles. Contributing to the Supplier Management strategy and team, to develop the Supplier Management function to deliver best practice, unlock business benefit and value and operational objectives.

Responsibility

  • Drive Supplier Management governance frameworks, core activities across all business areas
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, procurement, legal, and finance, to ensure Supplier Management engagement and practices met.
  • Implement Supplier Management scorecards, evaluation programmes, SLA standards into key suppliers
  • Analyse IT contracts to ensure compliance with licensing agreements and terms.
  • Monitor contract renewal dates, negotiate pricing and terms, and communicate effectively with vendors.
  • Lead and generate Supplier stats and reporting, KPI’s and dashboards across Supplier landscape
  • Technology Supplier strategy landscape, segmentation on annual basis and manage contract lifecycle of current incumbent suppliers
  • Lead and identify commercial sourcing opportunities on sourcing/ tendering opportunities, implementation, negotiation of new contracts and contract renewals
  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends, usage patterns, and opportunities for cost optimization in asset and contract management.
  • Lead in the selection and implementation of IT asset and contract management software tools.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders/user communities to share knowledge/ best practices, establish, and maintain standardised processes for Supplier Management, Contract & Asset Management
  • Prepare and present reports on asset utilisation, contract compliance, and cost savings to management and relevant stakeholders.

Education & Training:

Graduate in computer science or general management or adequate experience,

Experience:

  • Between 3-5 years' experience in IT function,
  • Working experience with SAP, MS Office, and collaboration tools,
  • Verbal and written English skills,
  • Action and result oriented,
  • Knowledge/experience in Technology procurement, Strategic Relationship Management and or Supplier Management required
  • CIPS accredited or working towards
  • Analytical and attention to detail required.
