The Role - IT Installation Engineer, Medical IT Systems

Following continued growth, this market-leading organisation now seeks to recruit a customer-focused IT Installation Engineer. In this rewarding role, the successful applicant will be responsible for:

1. Leading, directing, and ensuring the success of new installations and upgrades of IT healthcare systems, including operating systems, Oracle databases, and applications.
2. Designing and documenting a technically optimal installation or upgrade path.
3. Assisting the project manager with detailed planning of the upgrade or installation.
4. Ensuring that projects are well documented and all processes are followed.
5. Providing adequate support during the go-live phase.

Your Background - IT Installation Engineer, Medical IT Systems

To be considered for this role, you should have a strong background in IT installation engineering, IT systems administration, technical support, or a service role, with experience in:

• Oracle / SQL - queries, updates, and deletes.
• Windows - 2003 experience, Active Directory, and some basic networking knowledge.
• VMWare.
