You will lead and develop the IT Infrastructure Operations Team, ensuring operational excellence across systems and services. This role plays a critical part in supporting our technical performance and contributes directly to the Team’s objective of consistently achieving top three in the FIA Constructors’ Championship.

You will oversee and prioritise infrastructure tasks and services, including managing infrastructure tools (monitoring, backup/recovery, storage, server fleets), ensuring lifecycle management of assets, and driving continual improvement across ITIL Service Operation Processes. Additionally, you will lead the establishment of robust out-of-hours support for various operations, including wind tunnel and event weekends, while actively managing relationships across the factory, trackside, and with third-party vendors.

What you will need to be successful in this role:

  • Strong technical knowledge across IT infrastructure including Windows/Linux Server environments, Active Directory, M365, Networking, Firewalls, Storage, Azure, DevOps, MS SQL Server, Kubernetes, and AV systems.
  • Proven experience leading or managing IT infrastructure teams, ideally within Formula One or high-level motorsport environments.
  • Sound understanding of ITIL Service Operations Processes, cloud-based alternatives to on-premise infrastructure, and a proactive approach to service improvement, automation, and change implementation.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and engage cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure, remain results-oriented, and adapt effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • A flexible, motivated, and collaborative approach with a commitment to continuous development and a clear understanding of Health & Safety.

This is a full-time office-based role at our campus in Silverstone, with additional requirements to travel to other locations as necessary.

Embark on a journey with the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team to reshape history at our cutting-edge, sustainable campus in Northamptonshire. Plus, you can look forward to an on-site gym with fitness, spin, and yoga classes, as well as a new restaurant offering indoor and outdoor dining.
