IT Infrastructure Manager

Record is seeking a skilled and proactive IT Infrastructure Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and support of our technology infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security, and efficiency. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support business needs and contribute to the ongoing improvement of our infrastructure environment.
Reports to: Head of Technology
Location: London, W2 6HY, UK
Role: Full-time (37.5 hours per week). Minimum three days per week in the office.

Our services include currency management, sustainable finance, and asset management. Our clients are largely institutions, including pension funds, charities, foundations, endowments, and family offices.
Our offices are located in London, Zürich, New York, and Frankfurt, with the relevant team based in London.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of the company's infrastructure strategy in alignment with business goals and technology requirements.
- Manage and monitor infrastructure performance, availability, and security access across data centres, networks, servers, storage, and cloud environments.
- Provide regular KPIs to the Head of Technology and the Technology Leadership team.
- Lead and coordinate infrastructure support teams based in the UK, ensuring seamless collaboration and service delivery.
- Oversee office infrastructure across multiple locations, ensuring consistent and reliable IT services.
- Collaborate with IT, Compliance, Risk, Operations, and other teams to ensure the infrastructure meets their needs and supports their initiatives.
- Assist in defining and enforcing infrastructure policies, including access controls, encryption standards, incident response, and security audits.
- Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
- Maintain relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure quality and cost-effective services.
Professional Skills
- 5+ years of experience managing IT infrastructure, preferably within financial services or similarly regulated industries.
- Experience managing a small team of infrastructure and support staff.
- Practical experience with data centre operations, network management, server infrastructure, virtualisation, storage, and cloud platforms (preferably Azure).
- Knowledge of infrastructure security best practices and compliance frameworks such as GDPR and NIST.
- Familiarity with IT service management processes (ITIL) and relevant certifications (e.g., CCSP, CISSP) is a plus.
- Experience in cloud infrastructure security and DevOps is desirable.
