Job Description

Royal London is currently recruiting for an IT Infrastructure Administrator to join our IT Support team and be responsible for IT support in Glasgow.

The main purpose of the role is to provide technical support to Royal London colleagues for all hardware and software across the group.

Responsibilities
  • Providing professional IT 2nd Line support to all Royal London colleagues via incident and service request processes.
  • Supporting hardware and software across the group.
  • Managing workload and work queue proactively.
  • Liaising with IT Service Desk & 3rd line teams to resolve issues and share knowledge.
  • Identifying opportunities for service and process improvements.
  • Supporting project delivery and implementation.
Requirements
  • Experience in 2nd or 3rd line IT support supporting in-house and virtual customers.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies including AD, Exchange, Teams, Office 365, and supporting Windows 10 & 11 clients.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Problem-solving skills with a positive attitude.
  • Understanding of system automation.
  • Knowledge of Networks (WAN/LAN/Security/WiFi), monitoring, Unix, and storage technologies.
