As a IT Helpdesk Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical telephone support to our customers to maintain their systems. You will support the technical teams as needed and resolve any faults professionally and promptly.

Please note, this role is an office-based position in Bournemouth.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical telephone support to customers using remote tools to resolve faults or inquiries related to their telecommunications system.
  • Maintaining high customer service standards by keeping customers updated on the progress of their faults or inquiries.
  • Installing, updating, and maintaining relevant software and systems.
  • Using remote troubleshooting tools to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
  • Reporting third-party faults and passing them to the relevant department.
  • Supporting the technical team in other areas as required.
  • Logging all customer interactions accurately in our database.

The successful applicant will have the following:

  • Experience in customer service, 1st and 2nd line support.
  • Experience with Android applications.
  • Strong knowledge of VOIP and networking, including routers, switches, and IP addresses.
  • Good communication skills both on the phone and in person.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and enthusiasm for all duties.
