Job summary

A leading company in the energy sector is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join their team. In this role, you will provide first and second line support to end users, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and manage support tickets. We are looking for someone with 2-3 years of experience in a technical support role and a strong understanding of both Windows and macOS operating systems.

The Role:

  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
  • Manage and prioritise support tickets using tools like Jira, ServiceNow, or Zendesk
  • Set up, modify, and remove user accounts and permissions in Active Directory
  • Install and configure software, operating systems, and new hardware
  • Troubleshoot basic network issues, including connectivity and printing problems

The Candidate:

  • 2–3 years experience in a helpdesk or technical support role
  • Strong skills in diagnosing and fixing hardware and software issues
  • Good understanding of Windows and macOS operating systems
  • Basic knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)

Base salary: up to £36,000
