Overview

IT Hardware Manager - (IT, Hardware, Windows 10, 11, Build, Asset Management, Hands on, PC's, Laptops, ITAM, KPI's) - Permanent - Stockport

Charles Simon Associates is currently seeking an IT Hardware Manager for an outstanding existing client based in the Stockport area.

Location: Stockport

Salary: Up to £45,000 Per Annum D.O.E

Qualifications / Requirements

• Proven experience managing IT hardware across large estates
• Strong hands-on skills with Windows 10/11 builds and patching
• Creation of end-to-end Asset Management processes
• Leadership and/or team management experience
• Creation of SLA's and KPI's for team members
• Writing new documentation for assets from start to finish
• Excellent troubleshooting
• Strong 3rd-party vendor management experience
• Stakeholder Management

Key Responsibilities

• Managing the imaging, distribution, and return of laptops, desktops, tablets and other devices
• Leading and mentoring Hardware Engineers
• Overseeing IT Asset Management for 8000+ devices across Windows, iOS, and Android
• Liaising with vendors, including HP, Apple, and SoftCa,t for hardware procurement and support
• Owning and improving hardware processes, including WEEE disposal and monthly reporting
• Maintaining and enhancing the IT Asset Management platform
• Troubleshooting hardware/software imaging issues and maintaining a knowledge base
• Leading the end-to-end Windows patching process across the estate
• Creating and managing KPIs and SLAs for hardware operations
