Job summary

Flying Colours Consultancy Limited is seeking two experienced IT Field Engineers (Contract) to support a large-scale re-imaging project across multiple sites along the M4 corridor (Reading to Carmarthen). You will re-image devices, deploy Windows 11 using PXE boot, and verify full functionality with Office 365.

The assignment spans approximately 4–5 weeks, requires travel between sites, and may include occasional overnight stays. A competitive day rate is offered based on experience.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with Windows 10/11 deployment and imaging.
• Proficiency with PXE boot environments and related tools.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 setup and troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Own vehicle and full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Re-image and configure Windows 11 laptops and desktops.
• Use PXE boot or similar tools for efficient deployment.
• Configure and verify Office 365 applications post-imaging.
• Perform quality assurance and ensure successful device handover.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
• Collaborate with another engineer to complete the rollout efficiently.
