Field IT Support Engineer (IMAC / Installations, Moves & Changes)

Location: Ideally based in King's Lynn or Norwich area - Full-time | UK Travel Required

Are you a hands-on IT Support Engineer who enjoys being out in the field, solving problems face-to-face, and delivering great service? We're looking for an experienced Field IT Support / IMAC Engineer to join a growing national IT services provider supporting clients across the UK in multi-site environments.

The Role

You'll be responsible for on-site support, troubleshooting, and installations across client locations. This includes setting up and upgrading IT equipment, supporting office moves, and assisting with project delivery. You'll work closely with internal service teams to ensure clients receive an exceptional and proactive support experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing on-site support and troubleshooting for user and device issues
  • Installing, configuring, and upgrading IT and Telecoms equipment
  • Supporting IT, networking, and telecoms project rollouts
  • Assisting with office moves and new site setups
  • Building trusted relationships with client teams and end-users
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and service records
  • Supporting internal service teams when not travelling
Essential Skills & Experience
  • 2+ years' experience supporting Microsoft 365 and Active Directory
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 support and troubleshooting
  • Hands-on experience upgrading laptops/desktops (memory, SSDs)
  • Familiarity with Cat5e/Cat6 cabling, patching, and testing
  • Understanding of antivirus, malware, and web filtering tools
  • Configuration/troubleshooting of DrayTek or similar routers
  • Experience with Ubiquiti or similar Wi-Fi solutions
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
