Job summary

TXP is seeking experienced Retail IT Deployment Engineers to support nationwide UK and Ireland retail technology rollout projects. You will install and replace IT and till hardware, swap PCs, scanners, screens and keyboards, and ensure clean cable management on site.

Projects run across multiple regions with day and night shifts; a full UK driving licence is preferred. A company van and fuel card are provided to support field work.

Qualifications

• Experience deploying EPOS/POS systems in retail environments.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in fast-paced settings.
• Comfortable handling IT hardware in store environments.

Responsibilities

• Install and replace IT and till hardware.
• Swap PCs, scanners, screens and keyboards.
• Connect power and data cabling and configure equipment.
• Test and commission deployed equipment.
• Maintain tidy cable management and complete project documentation.

Retail IT Deployment Engineers Required - Nationwide

We're looking for experienced IT Deployment Engineers to support multiple retail technology rollout projects across the UK and Ireland.

Key Responsibilities

• Installing and replacing IT and till hardware
• Swapping PCs, scanners, screens and keyboards
• Connecting power and data cabling
• Configuring and testing equipment
• Ensuring tidy cable management and completing project documentation

Project Details

• Start Date: 15th October
• Projects running through to 4th December
• Day and night shifts available
• Work across London, Midlands, North East, Scotland, North West, South West, Wales, ROI, NI and IOM
• Monday to Thursday site work, with Friday used for PUDO and contingency where required

Requirements

• Previous EPOS, POS or IT deployment experience
• Comfortable working in retail environments
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Full UK driving licence preferred

Rates & Benefits

• £155.34 per day (Inside IR35)
• £17.26 per hour overtime (claimable after 9 hours door-to-door)
