Job summary

TXP is seeking experienced IT Deployment Engineers for nationwide retail technology rollouts with projects running Sept–Dec and potential opportunities into the new year.

Typical duties include hardware refresh, POS removal, PC and monitor installations, device configuration, and site sign-off. Travel across multiple sites, with a customer-facing role and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Experience deploying EPOS systems or hardware refresh projects.
• Proven hardware installation skills and device configurations.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
• Customer-facing professionalism and ability to work independently.
• Experience in retail or customer-site environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Carry out hardware refreshes and replacements across sites.
• Remove existing POS equipment and install new devices.
• Install PCs, monitors, tablets, printers and peripherals; configure devices.
• Test devices and verify configurations before sign-off.
• Liaise with customers and obtain site sign-off for each deployment.

IT Deployment Engineers Required - Nationwide/ London

We have multiple IT deployment and hardware refresh projects running from September through to December, with further project opportunities expected into the new year.

We are looking for experienced IT Deployment Engineers to support nationwide retail technology rollouts.

Typical Duties

• Hardware refresh and replacement activities
• Remove existing POS equipment
• PC and monitor installations
• Device configuration and testing
• Removal of legacy equipment
• Installation of tablets, printers and peripheral devices
• Site sign-off and customer liaison

Working Pattern

• Monday to Thursday
• Retail and customer-site environments
• One or more sites per day depending on project requirements

Requirements

• Previous deployment or EPOS experience preferred
• Strong hardware installation skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Professional customer-facing manner
• Ability to work independently

Rates & Benefits

• £155.34 per day (Inside IR35)
• £17.26 per hour overtime (claimable after 9 hours door-to-door)
