A leading company is seeking an IT Environment Manager to join their team in Warrington on a permanent basis. The role requires managing the technical environment, ensuring optimal operations, and collaborating with various stakeholders. Qualifications

• 5-7 years’ experience managing IT environments, system administration or DevOps.
• Hands on cloud experience (AWS, Azure or GCP).
• Experienced working with automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Puppet and Chef.

Responsibilities

Job Description:

An opportunity to work with us on a permanent basis has been announced for an IT Environment Manager, you will play a fundamental role managing the technical environment within the organisation. You will ensure the setup, configure, maintain the cloud environment as well as the infrastructure setup.

The right person for this role will have expert knowledge working with development teams, infrastructure teams and other stakeholders within the business to make sure the operations run smoothly and effectively.

Contract: Permanent

Location: Manchester (hybrid 2/3 days a week on site)

Key skills required for this role:

• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, visualisation technology and Network management
• 5-7 years’ experience managing IT environments, system administration or DevOps
• Hands on cloud experience (AWS, Azure or GCP)
• Experienced working with automation tools such as (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet and Chef)
• Demonstratable knowledge of Security best practise and compliance

The right candidate for this position will be able to comfortably operate in a cloud environment and will be able to demonstrate their experience through previous project work. The main responsibilities of this position will be to consolidate the current IT environment and ensure that the organisation can still operate optimally.
